Tonight is important, but why? Besides the fact that i want it to be? Well it is important because we are going to talk about a topic that really upsets me. Sociability. Why is it that sociability is bad in a work place? Now i am not going to lie--my mouth gets me in trouble a lot in work environments, but only when i am happy conversing with my co-workers while we are all so happy and gay.
I do not get it.
The life of a green tech..

Alright so i missed last nights post so let us have a twofer.
Let's start out with green tech such as myself working for free to gain experience. But first what is a green tech? To me it is someone with very little experience in the IT field. So why aren't more companies willing to give us a chance? I was lucky enough to find one, but honestly what is the harm. In my opinion it is actually a safer bet to train a green tech for free and then hire them then to hire someone with experience. No, this is false, but it can be true. Someone with experience is not always a good tech, and we all know this. If you take the chance to train up a new tech then you can mold that tech to your liking making sure they learn then the way you deem is 'right'. You would be the Mr Miyagi of the IT world.
Our second topic will pertain to women. Now i am not trying to be sexiest by any stretch of the imagination, but i feel like the role of the female in the family unit as it pertains to the American culture has taking a dramatic turn. Historically women have been the keepers of the house. They cooked, cleaned, and took care of the kids--generally. Well these days it almost seems like the rolls have reversed. That is not to say that men are working, but that women feel that they are the providers and in my opinion have the attitude to match.
The perfect example is my wife, and i hope she does not read this, but she thinks she is the boss. Twenty to thirty years ago this would not have been this case. I think the fact that this generation feels 'entitled' will only bolster the idea that they are in control. I simply miss the days when the man was the provider and the woman took care of the home. Call me old fashion--i certainly do.

Let us start with a foreword for any people that have the great misfortune of reading this.
This blog is a medium with which i can unload my frustrations as well as a record of a brand new IT tech. With that said let me set the scene for this play.
I am a 21 college student, father, and aspiring IT tech. I am currently pursuing an associates in IT and computer programming. While i pursue this degrees i work full time as a computer repair technician.
Oh by the way, my name is Taylor. Now that we have gotten the formal introductions out of the way let us start.
Crap, one more thing. This blog is not, nor will it ever be, politically or grammatically correct. If i want to get upset and throw a fit, i shall. If i want to use slang yo i will. I just wanted to throw that out there.
Now where was I.....
Life sucks! Why? Because of the adage that nothing is free. It even costs money to work a job that makes you money. Where in the hell is the logic in that?! Why do so many students pay insane amounts of money to get a degree that is so not in demand and expect a job--yes i am looking at you marine biologists. Go to monster.com and search marine biology jobs and see what you come up with. So why gather over One-Hundred-Thousand dollars in debt if you do not believe you will receive a job offer coming out of school? Why carry that burden?
On the flip side let me say this--do what you love and for no one else but yourself.
Time are tough folks, but giving up is even more tough.
